DJ ED Music Bio
DJ ED, also known as DJ ED (SAJ The Grove), is an incredibly lively, social, and energetic performer. His passion for music dates back to his time at Grove City College, near Pittsburgh, PA. It was there where he developed a love for oldies and rock & roll. In 1975, while studying there, he obtained his FCC Radio Broadcasting License from the campus radio station, WSAJ FM 89.5, and created his own 'Oldies' radio show at the campus tower. During this time, he also took on the role of Music Director for the phi Tau Alpha men's fraternity, which deepened his appreciation for all types of event music, particularly good ole fashioned rock & roll and dance music. This local DJ boasts an impressive music library of almost 26,000 tracks spanning from the 50s to the present. Equipped with the latest high-powered speakers and DJ mixing equipment, he energizes large dance floors with pulse-pounding bass and clear vocals. The events where he performed have garnered great reviews and the audiences are always eager for more from this talented DJ !
